CBR is an abbreviation of community-based rehabilitation. Assistance for people with disabilities is most efficient when it is done in and with the help of the local community.
Effata is Aramaic, pronounced by Jesus (Mark, chapter 7 verse 34) after which a deaf person could hear and speak again.
