Young people with a disability are more prone to getting HIV. Information campaigns were therefore started in 2004. Special attention is paid to children and young people with a disability, for example by making awareness material in Braille and videos with sign language.
Every month, a support group of HIV positive people meets for advice, prayer, support and medication.
Children who have become orphaned as a result of AIDS are helped with school fees and food; if necessary, a foster family will be found for them.
In 2023 we assisted 75 orphans in schools and 60 teenagers with vocational training.
We organised a youth camp with 250 teenagers of whom 120 with a disability.
